Hello!
We are the Rodriguez family! We have six active children and an energetic German Shorthaired Pointer. We live in Idaho and love adventures and all things outdoors. We try to spend time together as a family as often as we can. This blog will follow us as we grow and we hope to share with all of you our ‘Big Family Adventure’!
We will write about our experiences of life in a big family to share with you in the hope that we will be able to share something meaningful, helpful and fun. We hope that your will enjoy, learn from and laugh at our experiences and hope that you will also share with us some of your life’s experiences.
We plan to include the daily battles and ‘joys’ (the good, the bad and the ugly) of a big family. We decided to homeschool the kids in 2020 and will try to share some of the things we have learned through that experience. We plan to write about our adventures and the unique challenges that are inherent with our 8 person crowd. Big meals, big travel challenges, vacation restrictions, finances/budgeting, planning and organization, camping, overlanding, mountain biking, hiking, pets, and etc.
We are excited to share this journey with all of you and would love to hear from you! Building groups and fostering community can be difficult now-a-days due to different COVID 19 restrictions etc. We hope that this will be a way to bring us together to share our similar stories and experiences for all to learn from and enjoy.
